Cooperation between Europe and Africa would build on both continents’ strengths to identify converging interests. As such, trading and investing enable better resource allocation, foster innovation, and create jobs. This defining shift could recast the fortunes of the two continents which are separated at their closest point by less than 15 kilometers.
