Fiamma Nierenstein is a journalist and author of eleven books. She was a member of the Italian Parliament from 2008 to 2013, where she served as Vice President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the Chamber of Deputies. She is a founding member of the international Friends of Israel Initiative and now project director for the book A Shared Enemy: a Shared Defense. Lessons from Israel’s Response to Terrorism published by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.
